Like my previous session, this one needed to be done in 2 parts thanks to the tumultuous weather that has been happening in Houston lately. The first set of picture, there was lightning racing against the sky, the dark clouds were rolling and it was moody. Regardless of the weather, J&M were charming, funny and a pleasure to capture!! Self-professed at being “awkward”, they smashed through that and took some really romantic, beautiful pictures. Some of them not on the blog were kind of steamy!! We shot at the Menal Collection and at an off-the-beaten track neighborhood, and both places yielded great pictures. Enjoy!

Their wedding day was calling for storms, in fact the whole week had been plagued by storms! But on this day, the storms held off. The wedding was magical. Kendall Plantation was the perfect place for Kirstin and Josh to say “I do!”, and the party afterwards was fun, funny and touching. I feel very privileged to have been asked to help shoot this wedding, every moment from the day was gorgeous and fun, from the candy station and sparklers, to the photo booth and the speeches after the dinner. These pictures below capture the happiness and love felt throughout the day.

LOVE! LOVE ! LOVE!

I was lucky to be a second shooter {for the amazing Melissa of Snapped with Love} for Samantha and Russell’s wedding. They got married at one of the most unique places in Houston–Agave RoadThere was the danger of rain, but that didn’t falter this couple. Please enjoy the pictures of their big day, their special moments, the love and laughter. I loved capturing these two, their personalities bounce out of these pictures!

These two. They are so much fun. They share a joy in cooking together, eating in unique places and just plain having fun. For their engagement session we spent some time in their kitchen making and eating delightful from-scratch waffles, bacon and eggs. Then we galavanted around Houston, taking pictures at bars, Rice University & the Biscuit Wall. Through all this, these two were charming, funny and so totally in love. As you can tell in these pictures, we had a blast!!

I have known the mother for many years now, well before she met her handsome husband {or i mine!}. It was a quiet, frozen Sunday in Kitchener, Ontario. Baby R was dressed in a Star Trek outfit to honor Leonard Nemoy, as he had just passed away. In these pictures you can see how precious baby R is to his parents and the love that is within this family. Only 5 weeks old at the time, baby R was asleep for majority of the shoot and was a perfect gentleman to shoot.Blog 1Blog 2Blog 3Blog 4Blog 5Blog 6Blog 7Blog 8
